If wine and chocolate aren’t your thing, do not fear, for the Traverse City Microbrew fest is here! Saturday February 11th, is the annual Traverse City Microbrew festival, featuring local live music, art, food, and of course craft beer, the Microbrew & Music Festival “educates, celebrates, and inspires community collaboration and non profit fundraising through the joy of craft brew and great music”. This year’s musical line up features some big names like the Joshua Davis Trio (yes, from the hit NBC show, The Voice), The Change featuring Grammy winner Peter Madcat Ruth, Jack Pine, the Nth Power, and other amazing local bands such as The Deep Blue Water Samba School. As you jam out to some truly amazing music you can watch Fire Twirlers, sample drinks from over 40 different breweries, and eat some of the best food Traverse City has to offer. But wait, we haven’t even told you the best part, 100% of the net alcohol proceeds will benefit local charities! So not only are you going to enjoy an amazing festival supporting 100’s of local artists (food, music, etc) but you will also be supporting some great local charities! I mean really, what’s not to like? At this time general admission tickets are all that’s left and those can be purchased here for $45. For more information on the festival itself, including age restrictions, refunds, and other rules, please go here.
After a long day outside enjoying the food and fun the festival has to offer, why not stay with us? For only $91.85 you can! We don’t want anyone driving home after drinking all day so why not make a weekend out of it and call one of Traverse city’s amazing local cabs and stay with us? We’re only 7 miles away and more than happy to host!
