Live Like The Locals – Traverse City Restaurant Week

Although Traverse City is primarily known for it’s beautiful landscapes and cherries, Traverse City also offers some of the best food in Northern Michigan and according to Livability.com, Bon Appetit magazine, Zagat, and Conde’ Nast Traveler, some of the best food in the country. Local chefs Aaron Smock‘s appearance on ,and Kimberly Ryan‘s recent win on the hit show Hell’s Kitchen also speak to our culinary skill and appreciation. Because we love food and want to share it with locals and tourists alike, Traverse City and Great Lakes Wine & Spirits will be hosting it’s annual Restaurant Week February 26th – March 4th! For only $30 (not including taxes, beverages, or tips) you can enjoy a three course meal at any of the 42 participating restaurants. Participating restaurants include local favorites such as, Bistro Fou Fou, Georgina’s, North Peak, Pepe Nero, and Tap Root Cider House.*

Live like the locals do, eat amazing food, drink nationally recognized wine, and be merry, without the crowds and chaos of the summer. Rather than skipping the wine and driving all the way home, why not call a cab and stay with us? We at the Econolodge also love food and are offering rooms Sunday-Thursday, for a rate of $59.95 (plus tax) and a rate of $69.95(plus tax) on Friday and Saturday. We would love to host and compare notes!

*Because Restaurant Week is so popular reservations are strongly encouraged.

*Because we are currently in the process of renovations, room type may not be guaranteed so if you have a preference or mobility issues please let us know when you make your reservation.
